We're home from a family celebration. After 46 years of hard work, the last 26 of which have been for one company, my dad has finally retired. We honored him this weekend with an open house at their home. It was fun to see a lot of people from my youth and catch up with them.
No family thing is completely perfect, and yes there were bumps along the way, but we made it through and have made it safely home again. We log quite a few miles on our vehicles travelling to see family and friends, and the miracle of God's safety is not lost on me. Thanks for your protection once again, Lord.
